GD&T and Bonus

GD&T and Bonus settings inform CMM Data Import how to handle GD&T information.

To display this dialog box:

  1. In the CMM Data Import pane, click Settings .
  2. In the Settings dialog box, select a template and click Edit .
  3. In the CMM Template Editor dialog box, click GD&T and Bonus.
Bonus applicable axes Lists all axes to which the bonus applies.

Separate axes by commas.

Use Dev. as Meas. Lists all axes that report the measured value for Deviation.

Only when no meas.

Separate axes by commas.

Use Nominal as +Tol. Lists all axes that report Nominal GD&T tolerances.

Only when no +Tol.

For example, Geomeasure reports the plus tolerance and any bonus tolerance together in the Nominal field.

Separate axes by commas.

Unilateral -Tol. = 0 Lists all unilateral axes that report 0 for -Tol.

This informs Step Ahead to treat axes as unilateral when performing statistics.

For PC-DMIS, use the PC-DMIS tab.

Separate axes by commas.

Set Nom. to empty List all axes that report a value (0 or bonus amount) for Nominal when a value is not applicable, such as for position.
Allow zero toleranced GD&T control frames Generates GD&T feature control frames for features whose tolerances are 0.
Set all GD&T tolerances as bonus  
Set zero toleranced Linear axes as tolerance undeclared
