Example CMM output header:

Display Name Lists the report information fields as shown in the header, footer, title page, or notes.

To change the Display Name, click a row in the table and enter a new Display Name. Click Update to update the row.

For example, you could change Part Number to Customer Part Number.

Search Names Lists the search parameters for locating and reading in information from a text output file.

To change the Search Names, click a row in the table and enter the text that CMM Data Import looks for in the text output file. Click Update to update the row.

For example, if you designated the part number in the CMM file as Part#, enter Part# for Search Names. If you have more than one method of identifying the same information, enter all variations, separated by commas.

The more variations, the longer it takes to scan for information.
