Saving a Project File with Options to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

You can select options to save a file that include creating a new revision and releasing the file after saving it.

To save a project file with options in MySession:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the file and click Save.
    • Open the action bar at the bottom of MySession and click Lifecycle > Save.
    The action bar is minimized at the bottom of MySession.

  2. In the Save to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box, select options, such as:
    • New Revision

      Increments the revision ID to the file.

    • Release reservation after Save

      Lets another user reserve the file after you release it.

  3. Click Save.
