You can specify options for securing the data in the 3D PDF files that
you publish.
To specify security
options:
- Click Publish to 3D PDF
(MBD toolbar).
- In the Template Selection dialog box, select a template and click OK.
- Near the top of the PropertyManager, click Security Settings
.
- Specify options in the dialog box, and then click
OK.
Restrictions
Select one or more options to restrict access to or distribution of data in the 3D
PDF files.

Password Protection
Lost or forgotten passwords cannot be recovered from the
document.
Passwords are case sensitive.
Specify none, one, or both passwords. If you specify both passwords, you can open the
file with either one, but only the master password lets you change the
restrictions.

Select to require a password, and then define and confirm it.
