Hiding or Showing Models and Parts

You can hide and show individual parts on the models in a project. Hiding parts is useful when applying appearances to layered objects and when isolating parts for individual renderings.

To hide or show models and parts:

Do one of the following:
Action Description
Hide or show individual models and parts In the Palette, on the Models tab, on the General subtab, select the model or part in the Model tree and select or clear Visible.
Hide a model
  1. Click Selection Tool > Model .
  2. In the 3D Viewport, right-click the model and click Hide/Show and click Hide Model.
Show all models and parts In the 3D Viewport, right-click the model or part, click Hide/Show and click Show Everything.
Show selected parts only In the 3D Viewport, right-click the part and click Hide/Show and click Show Only.
