Managing Configuration Files

SOLIDWORKS Electrical has multiple configuration files. These files can be used into application-level or electrical project-level.

The configuration files contain all the parameters that you need to manage your electrical scheme.

Electrical project-level configuration parameters are stored at the electrical project level. The settings apply only to the specific electrical project.

Application-level configuration parameters apply to all electrical projects that use the configuration.

You can access the configuration files in two ways:
  • Menu: Electrical project > Configurations.
  • Dockable panel > Contextual menu of the electrical project > Configurations.
The configuration files are available for the following objects:
  • Drawing style

  • Cross references
