Contents Accessing Terminal Strips SOLIDWORKS Electrical has a complete terminal strip management system, from the insertion of terminals in drawings, to the automatic generation of terminal strip drawings, to cabling the terminals. Managing Multilevel Terminals Multilevel terminals are specific terminals on which you can connect several wires or cable cores. They have several circuits, unlike the single terminals that have only one circuit. To identify multilevel terminals, you can specify a special marking by indicating the level number. Managing Bridges SOLIDWORKS Electrical lets you link two or more terminals using bridges or jumpers. You can create bridges manually or automatic. Terminal Strip Editor You can edit and manage terminal strips by using the terminal strip editor. Reordering Terminals You can reorder terminals if the selection has at least two terminals. Renumbering Terminals You can renumber the terminals. Terminal Type Management The Terminal types are specific symbols used in the terminal strip drawing. For each terminal inserted in the scheme, you can associate a terminal type inserted in the terminal strip drawing. The Terminal types are associated with the symbols and the manufacturer parts.
