About Black Boxes

A black box is a generic symbol that you can use to represent any device. Black boxes save time when you do not need a new unique symbol. Black boxes are rectangular and can have editable pins associated with them.

You can insert black boxes in Schematic or Mixed scheme drawing types.

Connection Points for Black Boxes

On each intersection between a wire and the black box outline, a connection point is inserted that represents the device terminal. According to the configuration settings, you can have a basic connection point (the terminal number is text) or an oriented connection point with attributes.
