Electrical Components Wizard

The Electrical Components Wizard prepares a SOLIDWORKS part or assembly to make it compatible with the SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D features. It uses the Routing Library Manager of SOLIDWORKS, displaying specific options required for the 3D electrical layout and routing.

To open the Electrical Components Wizard:

The SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D menu: Electrical Components Wizard.
In the menu, click Tools > SOLIDWORKS Electrical > Electrical Components Wizard .

Open the part or assembly, and then open the Electrical Components Wizard.

The wizard lets you:

Create connection points
Create mate references
Define all faces of the component
