- Properties Tab
This section explains the properties tab of an object.
- Brush
You can copy the properties of one entity to another entity.
- Erase
You can delete the selected entities.
- Move
You can move selected entities at a specified distance and direction.
- Multiple Copy
You can create multiple copies of selected entities.
- Array
You can create multiple copies of selected entities in horizontal and vertical patterns.
- Rotate
You can modify the orientation of entities around a base point.
- Scale
You can change the proportional size of selected entities in the X and Y directions.
- Mirror
You can create a reverse copy of selected entities with a specified axis of symmetry.
- Fillet
You can manage the intersection of two lines by placing an arc of a specified radius.
- Offset
You can create concentric circles, parallel lines, and parallel curves.
- Stretch
The Stretch command moves only the points included in the selection window. It does not modify points outside the selection window. All the objects inside the selection window are moved. Select the points to stretch, then specify the base point and the desired endpoint.
- Trim
You can trim the entities that intersect or overlap with other entities in an active document.
- Extend
You can extend an entity to reach, or intersect another entity.
- Align Blocks
You can align selected blocks from a reference book.
- Distance
You can measure the distance between two points.
- Purge
You can delete unused blocks, text styles, line types, and other elements in the definition table of the document. Purging DWG files reduces or optimizes file size.
- Explode
You can break a block into constituent entities.
- Layers
You can manage the layers of the current DWG files. Each DWG file has an unlimited number of layers.
- Editing Symbol Attributes
You can add, delete, or edit the attributes associated with the symbol.
- Creating Multiple Attributes
You can create a multiple attribute based on an existing (single) attribute, the value of which is displayed over several lines of text. Attributes are special text strings found in symbols, title blocks, and 2D footprints (blocks).
- Editing Hatch
For documents containing hatched zones, you can change the options of the selected hatched zone.
- Updating Dimension
You can update a selected dimension to the current dimension style.
- Order - Set Foreground
You can move selected entities to the foreground in relation to all other entities in the active file or drawing.
- Order - Set Background
You can move selected entities to the background in relation to all other entities in the active document.
- Order - Move Below Entity
You can move a group of selected entities behind a second group of selected entities.
- Order - Move Above Entity
You can move a group of selected entities in front of a second group of selected entities.
