Electrical Project Viewer

To access the viewer, in Electrical project management, click Preview .

The selected drawing is displayed in a specific interface. You cannot modify the drawing from this interface. The interface is composed of several zones.

Menu Zone

Displays a Filters tab that lets you find a drawing or a component, and a View tab that contains command icons.

Icons	Description
	Lets you access the next or previous page.
	Opens the Electrical Project Properties dialog box of the selected element. If you open the help for this feature, SOLIDWORKS Electrical displays the main help of the software. Some features are not available in the Electrical project Viewer. It does not allow you to modify the electrical project content.
	Opens Reports and Design Rules Management dialog box. If you open the help of this feature, SOLIDWORKS Electrical displays the main help of the software. Some features are not available in the Electrical project Viewer. It does not allow you to modify the electrical project content.
	Groups the different zooms you can use in the interface.
	Opens Print management.
	Exports the drawing in DWG format.
	Exports the drawings in PDF format.

Side Panel

In the Pages tab, the side panel displays the list of the electrical project documents.

In the Components tab, the side panel displays the list of the components. Use the context menu to manage the type of display.

When the Pages tab is open, the Filter feature displays a Page search. When the Components tab is open, it displays a Components search.

Preview zone

The preview zone at the bottom of the application displays the drawings included in the selected book or folder. Click on a drawing to open it in the Electrical project viewer.

Viewer zone

Displays the selected drawing. You can zoom on the drawing but you cannot make any modification to it. The Electrical project viewer can display only one drawing at a time.
