Locations

A location is a place. Different locations are generally connected by cables. Every electrical component (such as devices or terminal strips, PLC) belongs to a location. It is, therefore, possible to include electrical components by location to obtain different lists based on the equipment contained in each location.

To access the Location tab, do one of the following:
  • Click Electrical project > Location .
  • In the dockable panel, right-click an electrical project and click Configurations > Electrical project > Location management .

A dialog box opens to let you manage the locations of the electrical project.
