Inserting Terminal Strips

You have two commands for inserting terminals. You can insert the terminals individually using the Insert terminals command from the terminal reference, or you can insert the terminal strip directly using the Insert terminals command available in context menu of the terminal strip.

1. In the Electrical Management panel, right-click the terminal strip to insert and select Insert terminals .
2. Click the insertion point to place the first terminal and open the Insert terminals PropertyManager.
3. In the PropertyManager, do the following:
   1. For Multiple Insertion, click the insertion direction, left or right of the other terminals.
   2. For Spacing, enter the distance between the two terminals.
   3. Select Insert base manufacturer part only to insert only the base part and not the terminal strip accessories or auxiliaries.
   4. Click Form sub-assembly to group the inserted 3D part in a new subassembly for better structuring.
