Selecting the Language

You use the Language selector to specify the language displayed in the Description field.

1. Open the Language selector using one of the following methods.
   • Click Symbol management > Symbol properties, and select Description .
   • Click Title block management > Title block properties, and select Description .
   • Click 2D footprint management > 2D footprint properties, and select Description .
   • Click Cable reference management > Cable reference properties, and select Description .
   • Click Manufacturer part management > Manufacturer part properties, and select Description .
   • Click TranslationAdd .
2. Form the Management or Translation dialog box, open the Language selector dialog box.
3. Select the languages that you want to manage:
   • When you open the Language selector dialog box from the Management dialog boxes, it lets you select the languages you want to manage in the element description. The selected languages are automatically added to the element properties.
   • When you open the Language selector dialog box from the Translation dialog box, it can have two appearances. It displays check boxes when you must select one or more languages but does not display them when you must select only one language.
