Creating Manufacturer Parts

You can create a manufacturer part if the manufacturer part you need is not in the catalog and you do not require it permanently.

1. From the Properties dialog box, click Manufacturer part and circuits > Create manufacturer part .
2. Enter the parameters.
3. Click Ok.
   • When the manufacturer part and the name of the manufacturer are entered and the part already exists in the catalog, a message box lets you choose to retrieve the properties from the existing manufacturer part or continue entering its properties.
   • If the manufacturer part is already in the catalog, click OK. If the properties of the new manufacturer part are different from the properties of the existing manufacturer part, a message box lets you choose to update the catalog with the new data or apply the data to the component.
   Once the part is created, a message appears if you need to add the part to the manufacturer catalog.
