Propagating Data to Connected Objects

You can propagate data through connected objects, for example, if you want to assign a channel address of a PLC to the number of the wire connected to this channel.

  1. Click Process > Propagate data to connected objects .
  2. Select the command scope.
    Option Description

Current Folder Propagates the data only on the objects of the current folder (the folder associated with the current scheme).
Current Scheme Propagates the data only on the objects of the current scheme.
Objects selected in the scheme Propagates the data only on the objects selected in the current scheme.
Choose schemes. Opens the scheme selector to select schemes to process. Only objects within these schemes are processed.

Destination data Select the data type in which the propagated data are copied.
  5. Check the box to activate the propagation rule.
