Adjusting DGN Underlays

You can use the AdjustDGN command to adjust the appearance of DGN underlays against the graphics area background.

You can adjust fade, contrast, and monochrome values. The settings do not affect the original file. When you print the drawing, the settings are applied.

To adjust DGN underlays:

  1. Type AdjustDGN at the command prompt.
  2. In the graphics area, specify a DGN underlay and press Enter.
Options for changing the appearance of the DGN Underlay against the graphics area background are available on the DGN Underlay contextual tab.
  3. Specify an option:
    • Fade. Sets the fade value. Values range between 0 for no transparency and 100 for full transparency.
    • Contrast. Sets the contrast value. Values range between 0 for no contrast and 100 for full contrast.
    • Monochrome. Specifies whether the underlay displays as monochrome or with its original colors.
If the contextual ribbon is active, select a DGN underlay in the graphics area and control its appearance against the graphics area background from the DGN Underlay contextual tab.
