You can use the Transition
Permissions page to assign the transition permissions between workflow states for
the user. You can also use the workflow editor to assign these permissions.
To access this page:
- Display the user's Properties
dialog box.
- In the left pane, click Transition

The From and To columns show the states for which the transition is
defined.
Select a transition to view or change the assigned
permissions for the user.

Disallow sequential
state changes
|
User may not make two sequential state
transitions on the same file. For example, you can use this
option to prevent users from approving their files.

Must enter state
change comments |
Must enter a comment in the Change State dialog box to perform the state change on
a file via a specific transition. This permission works in combination with the
administrative permission as follows.

Permit |
User can send files through the selected
transition. Users must have this permission even if the
transition is automatic.

permissions that are assigned based on the user's membership in a group. Hover over the icon
to view the groups from which the permission is granted to the user.
