You can open an ECAD file from CircuitWorks.
- CircuitWorks Setup Wizard
You can use the CircuitWorks Setup Wizard to set up important CircuitWorks options for connecting your ECAD data to the CircuitWorks and SOLIDWORKS applications.
- Using CircuitWorks from SOLIDWORKS
When you enable the CircuitWorks add-in, SOLIDWORKS provides a CircuitWorks menu from which you can start CircuitWorks, interact with the ECAD data in an assembly, and export models to CircuitWorks.
- Comparing ECAD Files
Use the Compare tool to identify differences between two ECAD files. You can then update one or both files to resolve differences.
- Saving an ECAD File
You can save changes you make to an ECAD file in CircuitWorks. You can save to the same file name or to a different file name or format.
- Printing the Preview Image
You can print the preview image of the open ECAD file.
- Exiting CircuitWorks
When you are done using CircuitWorks, you can exit the application.
