When you open an assembly document,
you
can create a
configuration
and suppress
or resolve all of the components at the same time. You can specify which
configuration to use for the parts contained in the new assembly configuration.
To open this dialog box:
Click .
3DEXPERIENCE Users: If the Open
from 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box appears, click This PC.
In
the dialog
box,
select an assembly document. Under Configurations, select <Advanced> and click Open.
Options
Open currently selected configuration |
Opens the configuration in which
the
assembly was last saved. |
New configuration showing all referenced models |
Opens the complete assembly. The components are resolved and shown
regardless of their suppression and visibility
state when last saved. All components appear in the assembly model.
Enter a name for the configuration in Configuration name. |

Opens the assembly structure only. The components are suppressed
regardless of their state when
last saved. No components appear in the assembly model until you
change their suppression state to resolved. Enter a name for the
configuration in Configuration
name. |
Use specified configuration for part references when available |
Any
part that has a configuration with the specified name uses that
configuration. Enter the name of the part configuration to use in
Configuration
name. |
