On
the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, virtual component files appear in gray in
the Save to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box. They also have an empty Status column.
On
the platform, a physical product is only created for the active configuration of a
virtual component, even if it has multiple configurations. To create a new physical
product, select the new configuration and save.
If the related physical part changes, MySession displays all related
virtual components with the same status, even if they have not changed. Virtual
components reflect the same maturity state as their corresponding physical product.
Locking or unlocking a physical assembly applies the same action to all
virtual components under that assembly.
