Saving a Document to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

When you save a document to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, you can specify options about where to save it.

To save a document to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click Save to 3DEXPERIENCE (Standard toolbar).
    • Click File > Save to 3DEXPERIENCE .
    • Press Ctrl + Alt + S.
      The software does not permit trailing spaces in the file name when you save to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
    The Save to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box appears.
  2. Optional: Specify the options:
    1. Click Select Bookmark to save the file to a bookmark.
    2. Click Collaborative Space to select a collaborative space to which to save the file.
    3. If the document is new, enter a Title.
  3. Click Save.
In the 3DEXPERIENCE Task Pane, the MySession app shows the active document and its status. You can select an action in the MySession app from the shortcut menu in the tree or the action bar at the bottom.
