You can import
data exchange
packages
to receive
modifications
from other users or suppliers.
Before
you begin, clean the cache for importing the package.

From the Action Bar of MySession, click the Tools tab.

Click Import Package
.

In
the Import Package dialog box, choose
the package to import.
- 3DDrive: From 3DDrive, select the package.
On
the cloud only: This option is available only with the PLM Collaborative
Services Adapter Client (C++ based application).
- File on Disk: From the file
available in a local folder, select the package.
The package
opens
in the Unified X-CAD Design Exchange
app. It displays the following details:

- Existing:
The object is in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

- Modified: The object is modified in
the 3DEXPERIENCE platform
after the export is done.

Supplier
Status |
Displays one of the following:
- Modified: The object is modified by
the supplier.
- Unchanged: The object is not modified
by the supplier.
- New: The object created by the
supplier is new.

Click Open to view the
package in MySession.
The following conditions are taken into account while opening
the package:
- If the Status in
3DEXPERIENCE is Existing and Supplier Status is Unchanged,
the
data package is opened from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
- If the Status in
3DEXPERIENCE is Modified,
the
data package is opened from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
- If the Status in
3DEXPERIENCE is Not Exists,
the
data package is opened as new.
- If the Status in
3DEXPERIENCE for the root
package is Existing, the data
package is opened from the 3DEXPERIENCE
platform. All the selected objects are replaced by the package objects
in MySession and the Status column is updated.
- If the Supplier
Status is New
(referenced or not referenced in the original structure) and the data is
selected, the file is opened in a new window.
- If the package contains drawings, each drawing is
opened in a new window.
The Status column in MySession varies, based on the objects selected and
the
combination
of values in the Status in 3DEXPERIENCE and Supplier Status column.
