Serial Numbers
If you
are managing licensing using the SOLIDWORKS SolidNetWork License Manager, you can add serial
numbers from the Activate/Deactivate Your SOLIDWORKS
Product dialog box by clicking Add. You
can enter or copy and paste multiple entries into the Add Serial
Number dialog box. Use commas, semicolons, or press the Tab key to separate the entries. Do not use spaces to separate
the serial numbers.
You can also remove serial numbers that have
either not been activated or have expired by clicking Remove.

specify
the SOLIDWORKS product whose license you want to activate or deactivate. Specify whether to
activate automatically over the internet or manually by email.

are activating a SolidNetWork license, the SolidNetWork serial number appears instead of

Reactivate
Starting with SOLIDWORKS 2022 products, if you have perpetual commercial or
educational licenses, you must reactivate those licenses once a year. A perpetual license
never expires but needs to be reactivated. The SOLIDWORKS Product Activation prompts you to
reactivate before the required reactivation date.
To reactivate a license:
- If you have an individual license for your computer, click Reactivate Now at the SOLIDWORKS Product Activation
prompt. If you do not want to reactivate the license immediately, click Remind Me Later.
- If you are using SolidNetWork licensing, click Reactivate in the SolidNetWork License Manager Server,
from the Server Administration tab. In the
Reactivate Licenses dialog box, you can use the
Serial Number drop down to filter for licenses that are expiring.
Contact Information
Specify an email address that the SOLIDWORKS software can use for license
activation.
If you specify manual email activation, the SOLIDWORKS software sends the
license key response file in an email to
the contact
address
or to another email that initiated the
request.
