Replacing BOM Items To replace BOM items: In SOLIDWORKS Manage, navigate to the process object of the Replace BOM items output. Click New (Main toolbar). Select the item to replace and the item to replace with in the object type fields. On the Affected Items tab, click BOM replacements analysis . In the Replacement Analysis dialog box, select the required parent records to have the items replaced. Click Add to list to close the dialog box and add the selected records to the affected item list. Move the process through its workflow past the stage where you added the Replace BOM items output.
