Connection Label Configuration

The configuration files contain the required parameters to draw the dynamic connection labels.

To open Connection Label configuration management for the current project, do one of the following:

  • Click Electrical Project > Configurations > Connection label > Properties.
  • Click Electrical Project > Configurations > Connection label > New.
  • Right-click the current project and click Configurations > Connection label > Properties.
  • Right-click the current project and click Configurations > Connection label > New.

General

This tab lets you name the configuration and enter a description in all software languages.

Themes

This tab lets you set the text parameters for the header and the content of the dynamic connection label.

Columns

This tab lets you define the columns of the table and their content.

Allows you to add a new column. The Attribute management dialog box opens allowing you to select the desired attribute.

Deletes the selected column.


Allows you to order the columns.
Adjusts the preview to the graphical area.
Name Description
Header This text comes from the attribute description. You can edit it by clicking the cell.
Attribute

Displays the attribute name associated with the column. You can change the associated attribute by clicking the cell. The attribute selector opens allowing you to select the desired attribute.

Width Enter the width of the column of the connection label.
Auto size

This parameter is used when the text is larger than the column width. If you select None, the text is automatically cut. If you select Fit to text, the column width automatically adapts with the text length. If you select Multiline, the column width is kept and the text can be placed on several lines if you place pipes (|) in the text to create a carriage return.

Header alignment Lets you manage the justification of the text header.
Content alignment Lets you manage the justification of the text content.

Symbols

This tab lets you manage the information you want to display on the top and on the bottom of the table.

Opens the symbol selector to select the desired symbol.

Removes the symbol.
Opens the symbol editor to modify it.

For each symbol, you must add an insertion point. For the Top symbol, this insertion point must be the top-left angle of the table. For the Bottom symbol, the insertion point must be the bottom-left angle of the table.
