Move

You can move selected entities at a specified distance and direction.

  1. Click Modify > Move .
    The dockable panel displays the following options:
    Icon Description
    Ends the command.
    Validates the selection
  2. Select the entities to move.
  3. Specify the base point coordinates and end point coordinates.
    Option Description
    Enter coordinates Enter a value for the X and Y coordinates. These coordinates must be separated by a comma. For example, 150,125.
    Distance Enter a length for the movement.

    Use the syntax Line length<Angle. For example, 100<45. This example copies the selected entities to 100 units and with an angle of 45º.
    Using this command on symbols, wires, and other electrical schematic entities automatically updates the electrical project database.
