Managing Default Document Properties

You can set default document properties for new files created using Sync, by converting CAD files into Composer formats.

Sync uses these values as its defaults for batch creation unless you have saved Sync defaults from the Default Settings page (see Default Settings). You can override the default values for the current batch from the Sync property pages. See Configuring Conversion Properties.

This is done in the Default Document Properties dialog box. To display this dialog box, click File > Default Document Properties at the bottom of the Sync window.

Notes:
  • Application preferences and default document properties are shared by all versions of Composer applications (Composer, Sync, Composer Player) installed on a given computer. The registry settings created when you change application preferences or default document properties are not removed when you uninstall Composer.
  • Administrators can restrict which document properties and application preferences team members can modify. See Administration: Disabling Document Property and Application Preference Modifications.
