When one or more actors are selected:

  • Only styles applicable to those actors are shown.
  • When the actors are subscribed to a style, that style is highlighted.

In the preceding illustration:

  • Only Markups and Generic styles are displayed because an arrow is selected in the viewport.
  • The Blue Arrows style is highlighted because the selected arrow is subscribed to that style. The Properties pane shows that some properties are defined by the style.

You can perform the following operations from the style gallery:

  • To apply a style to the selected actors, click the style.
    • When Auto Subscribe is selected, the actors are subscribed to the style (automatically update when the style changes).
    • When Auto Subscribe is cleared, the style is applied without subscribing the actors.

Note: Clicking a style also makes it the current style in the Styles workshop.

  • To scroll through the styles, click and , or click More to see all styles organized by family.
  • To set or clear default styles, right-click a style and click Set as Default , Unset as Default , or Unset All Defaults . Each actor family can have its own default style, which is applied by default when new actors are created. Default styles have stars on the preview images.
  • To delete a style, right-click a style and click Delete . You cannot delete locked styles (see Profiles for details) and default styles (use Unset as Default first).
Note: The Advanced application setting must be selected to generate style preview images. See Application Preferences - Hardware Support.
