Publish to HTML (Save As)

The Save As dialog box lets you publish the active Composer document as an interactive HTML page that will let users replay your Composer experience in a browser.

About the HTML Output

To display this dialog box, click File > Publish > HTML .

Note: Dedicated plug-ins are necessary to read Composer content in either Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. It is recommended to install Composer Player (free or with Player Pro), as the necessary plug-ins for both browsers are automatically installed and registered at the same time. In the case of Internet Explorer, you also have the option to accept the installation of this plug-in (based on ActiveX) the first time you access a published Composer HTML experience.

Save Options

The pages at the bottom of the dialog box let you set document properties.

Security
Important: Setting a password when publishing to HTML is useless, as no password prompt will appear when opening the file. Indeed, when you publish to HTML, the application creates an SMGXML file, and it is not possible to set a password for the SMGXML extension. This is only possible for the SMG extension.

Use Composer Player 64-bit version (CAB file)

Includes the 64-bit version of Composer Player plug-ins. To include the 32-bit version, clear this option.
