Exporting the Active Sheet to a New Drawing
Use the ExportSheet command to export the active sheet entities to the Model space of a new drawing. The command creates a new drawing with a visual representation of active sheet Viewports and all other layout sheet entities.
Note: This command is available in Sheet mode only. Also, you cannot export sheets while editing Blocks and referenced drawings.

Entities that are not exported:
  - Entities on layers that are frozen or turned off.
- Entities that are not visible in a layout viewport.
- Dimensional Constraints
- VoiceNotes
- VoiceRecordings
- PictureRecordings
- Stamps
- Lights
- Masks
- OLE objects and Proxy entities
Changes to exported entities
Some entities transform into a different type of entity or are modified to maintain layout fidelity:

    | Entity Type | Representation in the Exported Drawing |

    | Simple geometric entities | Simple geometric entities (such as Lines, Arcs, Circles) that exceed the boundary of the layout viewport are trimmed. |

    | Complex geometric objects | Complex geometric objects (such as Polylines, Centerlines, Hatches, Patterns) that exceed the boundary of the layout Viewport are exploded into simple geometric entities and trimmed. |

    | Dimensions | Dimensions that exceed the boundary of the layout Viewport are exploded. |

    | Annotative entities | Non-annotative entities in current scale. |

    | Standard or dynamic blocks | Standard or dynamic blocks as well as References that exceed the boundary of the layout Viewport are converted to an anonymous block. |

    | Clipped References | Clipped References are converted to blocks appearing in clipped state. |

    | Layout Viewports | Layout Viewport are represented by a Polyline. |
Notes:
  - Entities general properties such as. Layer, LineColor, LineStyle etc. are carried into the exported drawing.
- 3D entities (Solids, Surfaces) that are exported from 3D view, appear the same in 2D view as in the original drawing.
  - Entities in perspective view are exported as in parallel view.
- Due to the conversion, some entities are displayed differently in the view drawing in certain cases.
