Use the Exclude Folders tab of the Properties page to exclude users from
branching files from selected
folders.
To access the Exclude Folders tab:
- Display a user's Properties dialog box by doing one of the following:
- Expand and double-click a user.
- Expand Users and Groups
Management, then right-click Users and select New
User.
- In the left pane, click Branch.
- Click Exclude Folders.
Vault Folders
All vault folders are listed in the tree.
- Select a folder to which you want to apply exclude folders option. The
exclude folders option applies to the folder and all of its subfolders.
- Expand folders to apply exclude folders option only to a subfolder.
- If you select the vault itself, the options you set apply to all folders in
the vault.

icon is displayed if the
permission is assigned based on the user's membership in a group. Hover over the
icon to view the groups from which the permission is granted to the user.
