SOLIDWORKS PDM Add-in The SOLIDWORKS PDM Add-in for SOLIDWORKS provides access to the vault in SOLIDWORKS. SOLIDWORKS PDM Toolbar The SOLIDWORKS PDM toolbar is displayed at the top of the Task Pane. SOLIDWORKS PDM Menu From the SOLIDWORKS menu bar, select Tools > SOLIDWORKS PDM to display the following commands. SOLIDWORKS PDM Toolbar and CommandManager Tab You can access SOLIDWORKS PDM and all its commands from a dedicated SOLIDWORKS PDM toolbar and the CommandManager tab in SOLIDWORKS when you select the SOLIDWORKS PDM add-in. SOLIDWORKS PDM Task Pane The Task Pane lets you view file variables and perform commands from a shortcut menu. Handling Large Design Review (LDR) and Detailing Mode For assemblies opened in Large Design Review (LDR) mode and for drawings opened in Detailing mode, you can view the SOLIDWORKS files structure in the SOLIDWORKS PDM Task Pane (along with icons) similar to the FeatureManager design tree. SOLIDWORKS PDM Add-in Options The SOLIDWORKS PDM Add-in Options let you customize the add-in interface and commands. Close SOLIDWORKS Files on Check In When you edit files and check them in from SOLIDWORKS, you can select to have SOLIDWORKS PDM close the files after the check in operation completes, rather than reload them. SOLIDWORKS PDM to Electrical Connector The SOLIDWORKS Electrical to SOLIDWORKS PDM connector is available with the SOLIDWORKS PDM install.
