A
set of diagnostic tools helps you identify issues with a study’s setup before you run a
simulation.

Diagnostic
Tool |
Description |
Underconstrained
Bodies |
Detects the bodies of a part or assembly that are
not sufficiently constrained during a simulation and can exhibit
rigid body modes. |
Simulation
Evaluator |
Inspects a study's setup to determine if the
setup is optimal for a successful simulation. |
Interaction
Viewer |
Calculates all areas with interaction definitions
between the selected components and renders them with a unique color
according to the interaction type. |
Mesh Failure
Diagnostics |
Identifies geometry entities that failed to mesh
and helps you resolve issues with solid mesh. |
Mesh Quality
Diagnostics |
Identifies poor-quality mesh elements based on a
defined criterion. |
Convergence
Check Plot |
Detects regions of the model where the solver has encountered
contact convergence issues. |
