You can trace the path of motion of a point in an
assembly.
-
From a Motion
Analysis study, click Results and Plots
(MotionManager toolbar).
-
In the PropertyManager under Result, for Category, select Displacement/Velocity/Acceleration.
-
For Subcategory, select
Trace Path.
-
Select
features
:
- Select one face.
Traces the trajectory
of the origin of the part for the selected face relative to the origin
of the assembly.
- Select one point, vertex, or edge.
Traces the trajectory of the corresponding location relative to the
origin of the assembly.
- Select a face as a second entity.
Traces the trajectory of the first
entity
in the frame of reference for the second entity.
-
Select items under Output Options and click
.
-
Click Calculate
(MotionManager toolbar).
The motion path appears in the graphics area but is not

You
can right-click a
Trace Path result
in the
