Editing Discrete Wires with Auto Route

You can perform edits on discrete wires, for example, add, remove, and merge.

To edit discrete wires with auto route:

  1. To add the route to the discrete wires bundle:
    1. In the graphics area, right-click the route and click Add Route to Discrete Bundle.
      The Auto Route PropertyManager appears with Re-route spline or line selected and the route to add listed under Selections.
    2. Click the spline point on the bundle.
    Route gets added to the discrete wires bundle.
  2. To remove the route from the discrete wires bundle, in the graphics area, right-click the route and click Remove Route from Discrete Bundle.
  3. To merge multiple discrete wire bundles:
    1. Right-click a spline in a discrete wires bundle and click Merge Discrete Bundle.
      The Auto route PropertyManager appears with Re-route spline or line selected and the spline appears under Selections.
    2. Click the spline point on the other bundle to merge.
    Both bundles merge till the selected spline point.
