Annotations include text
and symbols that add information to
drawings.
When you open a SOLIDWORKS drawing in
3DPlay or
3DMarkup and it has PLM or extended attributes defined,
you can preview those properties as annotations. You can view the annotations only
for the basic PLM attributes and a few extended attributes. The supported basic PLM
attributes are:
$PLMPRP.created
$PLMPRP.project
$PLMPRP.reservedby
$PLMPRP.modified
$PLMPRP.status
$PLMPRP.name
$PLMPRP.owner
$PLMPRP.revision
The
supported extended attributes are:
$PLMPRP.ea_releaseddate.1
$PLMPRP.ea_releasedby.1
$PLMPRP.ea_createdby
- The annotations for extended attributes are visible only if
the drawing is released using the Change
Maturity command in the Collaborative Lifecycle app.
- Only
standalone
annotations added in a drawing are dynamically evaluated and displayed in
3DPlay or 3DMarkup.
The drawing release process involves several approvers. When you view
a drawing in 3DPlay or 3DMarkup, the
information about the drawing release process
(the
list of approvers, the associated task, and the date of
approval)
is visible through the annotations.
The $PLMPRP properties are suffixed with an index
that
corresponds
to the approval order. The supported
attributes
are:
ea_releasedby.i |
Represents the ith (in time) approver of the
drawing |
ea_releaseddate.i |
Represents the date when the ith (in time)
approval is defined on the drawing |
ea_releasedtask.i |
Represents the task title used when the ith
(in time) approval is defined on the drawing |
In
the SOLIDWORKS properties dialog box,
you
can propose
three
approvers
by default
,
but you
can
increase the number of approvers.
