Creating Project Templates

You can customize inspection project templates to meet company, vendor, and client requirements. After you create an inspection project, you can save the settings in a new template or overwrite an existing template.

1. Click New Inspection Project (SOLIDWORKS Inspection toolbar).
2. In the Project Template Selection PropertyManager, select a template and click .
3. Specify options in the Create Inspection Project PropertyManager PropertyManager.
4. Click Create New Template (SOLIDWORKS Inspection toolbar).
5. In the Save As dialog box, specify the file name and location and click Save.
