Match components in
library by |
Select how CircuitWorks determines
if there is a SOLIDWORKS model for an ECAD component already in the Component Library:
- Name Only
- Name and Number

|
Library export custom
delimiter |
The separator character used when
exporting the Component Library to the Custom Delimited
Text File file type. |
Check component library data for errors when
opened |
When the Component Library is
opened, checks for component references that do not have a corresponding SOLIDWORKS
part file on disk and gives you the option to delete or repair them. Unreferenced components are suppressed
and marked with this icon
.
|
Show component offset information in library |
When checked, displays the
X, Y, and Z Offsets, Rotation, and Orientation fields for components in the library. This information
can be useful for legacy components that do not include automatically generated
CircuitWorks-specific coordinate systems. |
Add components to the
library when exporting from SOLIDWORKS |
Adds any components from the
assembly that are not included in the Component Library. |
Verify components exist in vault on
library startup |
Applies to SOLIDWORKS PDM
installations only. If selected, when you open the Component
Library, the CircuitWorks software verifies that each component exists in the
SOLIDWORKS PDM vault.
By default, this option is cleared for
faster library startup.
If you are aware of vault activity,
select this option so that the latest versions of vault parts are copied to the
local machine.
|
Overwrite any
existing 2D models in the library with new 3D models |
Specifies what CircuitWorks does
when it detects a 3D version of a 2D (zero-height) model in the Library:
- Always overwrite
- Never overwrite
- Prompt each time
