Importing Prostep EDMD Files

You can import Prostep EDMD files into CircuitWorks.

1. Click Tools > CircuitWorks > Open ECAD File .
2. For Files of type select Prostep EDMD File (*.idx).
3. Navigate to the shared folder, select the Prostep EDMD file, and click Open.
   The Prostep EDMD data, including any changes, appears in the Changes tree at the lower-left corner of the CircuitWorks navigation tree.

   If you clear the Open all Prostep files in folder automatically CircuitWorks option, then only the file you select appears in the Changes tree.

   If you used email-based communication, save all of the .idx files
