Heat Transfer from Cooling Fin

Description

A cooling fin of square cross section of area 0.0069 ft2, and length 0.667 ft extends from a wall maintained at temperature 100ºF. The surface convection coefficient between the fin and the surrounding air is 1.929e-6 BTU/(s.in2.F), the air temperature is 0ºF and the tip of the fin is insulated. Determine the temperature of the fin tip.
