Temperature Distribution in a Slab Exchanging Radiation with Ambient Atmosphere

Description

A slab of dimensions 2mX1mX1m has the following boundary conditions: heat flux of 10.4 W/m2 on the face AD, convection on the face AB with convection coefficient of 1.2 W/(m2-K), and a radiation boundary condition on the face BC with emissivity of 0.5. The ambient temperature for convection and radiation is 100ºC. Calculate the steady state temperature at point R (1.6m, 0.5m).
