The global contact condition is set to bonded by default. This setting does ensure automatic bonding for all touching entities in the model.
Consider the behavior of touching entities during the course of the analysis. All touching entities need not be bonded as bonding introduces a welded contact throughout the analysis. If regions of initially touching entities can separate from each other but not penetrate, define a No Penetration contact type.
In the
Partial study, the program automatically creates bonded contacts for:
-
The touching beams that act as stiffeners with the roof

- The touching faces of the columns with the vertical glass panels
