1-D Steady State Thermal Analysis

Subject a rectangular plate (0.1 m x 0.01 m) to a prescribed temperature at its left-hand edge and a prescribed radiation to ambient temperature at its right-hand edge. Determine the steady state temperature at its right-hand edge.

The temperature at the plate's left-hand edge is maintained at 1000 K, and radiation to ambient temperature of 300 K with emissivity of 0.98 is specified at the right-hand edge.
