Assigning Material Properties You assign the following material properties manually: Property name Property value (SI) Elastic Modulus 3.10275X109 N/m2 Poisson's Ratio 0.3 In the Simulation study tree, right-click the nl_curvedsheet icon and select Apply/Edit Material. In the Material dialog box: Right-click the Custom Materials folder and select New Category. Right-click the newly defined category and select New Material. In the Material dialog box, on the Properties tab, do the following: Set Model Type to Linear Elastic Isotropic. Select SI - N/m^² (Pa) in the Units menu. In the Name box, type a name for the material, for example, Material 4. In the material properties table, use the Value boxes to set the following values: For Elastic Modulus, type 3.10275e9. For Poisson's Ratio, type 0.3. Type a value like 1020 for Mass Density. The value of mass density does not affect the results for this problem but it is a required physical property. Click Apply.
