Listing Reaction Forces

Reaction forces develop at the supports.

1. Right-click the Results folder and select List Result Force .
2. In the PropertyManager, under Selection:
   1. Select Coordinate System1 from the flyout FeatureManager design tree for Plane, Axis or Coordinate System.
   2. Select English (IPS) in Unit .
   3. Select the edge shown for Faces, Edges, or Vertices .
   4. Click Update.
      

      Under Reaction force, note that the resultant reaction force of 700lb on the whole model is approximately equal and opposite to the applied force to satisfy equilibrium.
