You apply convection to the bottom face of the substrate, Face 1, and Face 2.

Click Thermal Loads
(Simulation CommandManager)
and select Convection
.
The Convection
PropertyManager appears.

In the graphics area, click the back face of the substrate, and Face 1 and Face 2 as shown in the figure.
Face<1>,
Face<2>, and
Face<3> appear in the
Faces for Convection box
.

Set Unit
to SI.

Set the Convection Coefficient to 25.

Set the Bulk Ambient Temperature
to 300.

The software applies convection to the three selected
faces and creates one icon in the Thermal
Loads folder. Convection symbols appear also on the three
selected faces.
