Creating a Harmonic Study from a Frequency Study

  1. Browse to drive letter:\Users\Public\Public Documents\SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS version\samples\Simulation Examples\Dynamics\AC_Unit.SLDASM and open the file.
  2. Click the Frequency study tab.
  3. In the Frequency study tree, right-click the Frequency study, and select Copy Study.
  4. In the Copy Study PropertyManager:
    1. For Target Study, click Linear Dynamic, and select Harmonic.
    2. For Study name, type Harmonic for the new study.
    3. Click OK.
    The Harmonic study tab is created at the bottom of the graphics area. The Harmonic study is created in the Simulation study tree.
    When you create a dynamic study from an existing frequency study, the material properties and restraints of the frequency study are copied to the new dynamic study. If results exist, they are also copied.
