Editing the Heat Power Condition

To incorporate this time-dependency set up in the previous procedure, you edit the definition of the heat power condition.

1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Heat Power-1 icon in the Thermal Loads folder and select Edit Definition.
2. In the PropertyManager under Heat Power, click Use Time Curve then click Edit.
3. In the Time curve dialog box, click Get curve.
4. In the Open dialog box, select Simulation Examples\Thermal\HeatPower_time_curve.cwcur and click Open.
5. In the Function Curves dialog box, click Time curve-1 under Time curve.
   The curve data appears in the Curve data box. To view the time curve, click View.
6. Click OK twice.
7. Click to complete the definition of the time-dependent heat power condition.
