Generating a Section Plot of the Stresses

Generate a stress plot with the default color map and create a section plot for the von Mises stress plot.

1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Results folder and select Define Stress Plot .
2. In the PropertyManager:
   1. Under Display, select VON: von Mises Stress in Component .
   2. Select psi in Units .
3. Click .
4. In the Simulation study tree, right-click Stress2 (-vonMises-) in the Results folder and select Section Clipping .
5. Click in the Reference entity box and select Plane3 from the flyout FeatureManager design tree.
   Plane3 appears in the selection box under Section 1 in the PropertyManager.
6. Under Options, clear Show section plane.
7. Click .
   The following section plot of the stress is displayed.
